Another good week from Class 4 this week! Our reading percentage was up to 91%.

We have started our new English topic of story writing this week and the children have been focusing on our story ” little freak”. Class 4 have been coming up with their own ideas of how this film will end and the results are amazing!

In English this week we have been finding out about different story endings. I would like the children to research each story ending and link this with a particular film/book. I would like the children to also explain how their chosen film/book fits in with this ending.

Here are the endings they need to focus on.

Resolved ending – All questions answered.
Unresolved ending – Most questions answered.
Unexpected ending – Catches the audience by surprise.
Cliff-hanger ending – No questions answered, leaves the audience not knowing.
Twist ending – The audience didn’t see this coming.
Tied Ending – It finishes where it starts.

I would like 4 reads and at least 30 minutes on TT Rockstar’s before Wednesday.

If there are any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me on
