Another good week from year 5 this week. The children have continued with their hard work and determination to achieve their best! One thing that has really impressed me this week is during P.E. In year 5 this week we have been focusing on Respect. The children have been showing this in numerous ways and how they can show respect to others. One thing we did this week was a team building activity. The children really focused on showing each other respect and listening to others to ensure they got the task done.

What’s happening next week:
Our P.E slots this week are Monday and Thursday so if they can please come in P.E kit these days.

Championing Maths18.11.249.00 am Parents and carers shown around to look at maths across the school and champion learning.

Class Focus: Presentation! As a class we are focusing on the presentation of our works in our books. If the children get any spare time at all if they could practice their joint up handwriting. Fractions, I would love for the children to be practicing their fractions. As we all know these are a tricky topic and any extra work would go a mile!
Class 4’s focus this week is to keep up the hard work, get used to being in class 4 and get to grips with everything. I would like 4 reads these need signatures! also at least 30 minutes on TT Rockstar’s Per week.

Homework:

The children have a little bit different homework this week. I would like the children to show 3 acts of respect/kindness around the house. If the parents could take a photo/video/email of what the children have done that would be amazing.
