Another really good week from class 4 this week. Our reading percentage improved to 96% and our attendance was 95%. I have really pushed year 5 this week and they have done nothing but impress me. Also, our highest ever 10/10 on spellings with 88% of the class getting 10. As our English unit is persuasive writing the children have been designing a dragons den pitch on an “ideal location” to send Mr. Trott. I am super excited to see where I will be jetting off to so make sure you are all focused on that next week!

Homework:
As the children have really put their all into this week I have kept the homework minimal. Next week we are starting a new math’s unit “fractions” I would like the children to fill in an A4 piece of paper with their knowledge of fractions, this will be due Tuesday so I can see where the children are at.
