Home-Learning Examples

Updated Theme Task

My apologies, on Thursday I included a link to the keith Haring website on the learning grid, unfortunately I posted an incorrect link. The actual link should have been; http://www.haringkids.com/index.html not the one in the original post. Using the orignal link would have made it more difficult to find the resources for children which appears in the tabs at the top of the web page. Using the link above will take children directly to the art work aimed at children.

The original blog has now been removed and I apologise for the error.

Please use the following learning grid and ignore the original one that I posted on Friday if you have saved or printed off.

Home-Learning Activities W/C 4th May

Friday 8th May sees the 75th Anniversary of VE day. VE day marks the day in which the Allied forces accepted the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany and the wider Nazi Party marking the end of WW2. If we were in school we would have marked this event in history with activities across the week, therefore this week’s home-learning activities will be based upon VE day and the events of WW2.

History Activity

Our Time in History

In school we have created a display board ready to display some of the fantastic things you have been doing during home learning. We would also like to add an area devoted to diary entries to document this time in history.

Please send you diaries to: class4brandesburton@gmail.com

Home Learning

Charlie has created a number of graphs based and a quiz for the class to complete.

Lily chose to use string to create a human body with organs showing. I was very impressed by this piece of creative work, unfortunately a problem with the blog has prevented me from sharing the photos :-(.

Home Learning Examples

A bit quiet on the example front today. Don’t forget to send me examples of your work, I share at least one example of work from each child that emails me work from the past 24 hours (as long as I don’t have technical issues with the blogging platform – but I will still make reference to it).
