Home Learning Day 3

Yesterday, Dougal decided to play board games with Eadie and Martha. I’m not sure he fully understood the rules. He just kept choosing a piece to steal and ran away with it. Check out the photos in the PDF. Feel free to send me images of you enjoying board games (check with an adult at home first). I will post images on the blog.

Over the past few days I have been struggling to get onto Purple Mash and TT Rockstars; therefore I have been working on a learning grid, which details a range of activities that can be completed that link to the things that we have been learning about at school. Some of the tasks will require the children to log onto Purple Mash, however there are many more tasks that do not involve logging on to Purple Mash, to ease the burden.

Do not feel like you have to complete every single task.

The learning grid is not the complete article, covering every subject, but I will endeavor to get a completed article out to you in due course.

Feel free to send me images of your work and I will share them on the blog (remember to check with an adult at home before sending)

Home Learning Day 2

Dougal says, “Listen to the Prime Minister, only leave home for essential items and social distancing exercise. Also it may be wise to stay in a cage if you’re a pet when Mr Mallison is doing the Joe Wicks workout nobody wants to get stood on. Stay safe Class 4.”

I have set a few activities again today on Purple Mash. Remember if you can’t get online to have a go at these there is also the activities that have been listed on the letter that I sent home.

Additionally, I thought you could attempt doing something creative today. Using any medium of your choice, painting, drawing, chalks, melt crayons, hammer beads…anything! Crate a picture of what you can see from your bedroom window.

Home Learning

Yippee!

I have managed to access the Purple Mash website and set the weekly spellings as a 2do. Additionally, I have set a fractions 2do that links to activities that we have explored at school. Furthermore, I have also been able to start a battle on TTRockStars.

Please have a look at these activities and let me know how you get on.

Could you also let me know if you manage to get onto the Purple Mash website?

I accept that a lot of these activities involve using an electronic device, remember to take a break from the screen (at least 10 mins for every 60 mins screen time).

Purple Mash Uploads

Just to keep you all updated at the present moment I am unable to access the Purple Mash website, I feel this may be due to the sheer number of people trying to access the website. I am also experiencing similar problems with the TTRockStars website.

I will endeavor to access the websites through out the day and update as to when I can provide you more details as to tasks for the children to complete.

Monday 23rd March

Good Morning Class 4!

Today I will be posting a number of activities for you to complete, the first task is to take part in the Joe Wicks PE session which will be live at 9:00 on his youtube channel, The Body Coach TV. If you cannot tune in at 9:00 it will be available for playback.

I’m going to get my PE kit on so check back soon for a video upload of me taking part.

If you’re wanting another task to do in the mean time, check out Pobble 365 for a writing opportunity.
