Email Response: Slight Delay

Good Afternoon Everybody! I may not get back to everybody who has emailed since yesterday afternoon in the usual time frame, but I will respond by the end of tomorrow. I’ve been in school today, busily phoning as many families as possible. Don’t worry if we didn’t manage to speak, I’ve tried to contact all families, I’ll be in touch over the phone next time I’m in school.

Feedback

Good Morning everybody! I hope you are all ok today?

Tomorrow whilst in school I am going to endeavor to call as many of your parents and guardians as possible for a quick chat as to how you are all getting on. In the meantime (feel free to give feedback on the blog or tomorrow when I call) could you have a think as to how your home learning is going? Particularly I am interested to know how you are accessing the activities, would you rather receive:

  1. Daily tasks such as; 1 English, 1 maths and then a theme/foundation subject activity or,
  2. A weekly learning grid that you can pick and choose from?

Example of Work Submitted over the Easter Break

I was also sent lovely examples of work by Daisy, but unfortunately due to technical issues with the blog, it will not allow me to post them at the moment. Daisy created a menu for astronauts after carrying out research using Youtube! I was also informed that Daisy had an amazing birthday!

Oliver learning sign language.

Part of Chloe’s 30 day drawing challenge
Finally, a virtual school trip to Edinburgh zoo!

Say Hello!

It has been great receiving examples of work that you have been completing for me to post on the blog or for me to just cast an eye over. More importantly, it has been fantastic to hear from you, just to find out how you and your family are getting along!

Over the next couple of days it would be fantastic if you could all either comment on the blog or drop me an email @ class4brandesburton@gmail.com

Do not feel like you have to email me an example of the work that you have been completing, just drop me an email or post a comment to let me know how you are getting on.

Welcome Back!

Good Morning Class 4!

I hope you all had a CRACK-ing Easter break full of EGG-citing activities.

This morning I will be getting back up-to-speed with blog comments and emails. Please note, if you posted a comment on the Stay Safe blog post, I am unable to approve the comments as the blog was posted by Mrs Holland, I understand that Mrs Holland is able to approve the comments and will be doing this in due course.

The file below contains a list of English and Maths activities that could be completed/started over the course of this week. I do not expect you to get everything completed in one week (you will see that some of the tasks are designed to be completed over the course of 4 weeks; in addition to there being a choice as to what you complete).

Our theme for the summer term is going to be slightly different to what we discussed in class (Olympics), we are going to be covering Healthy Lifestyles! A range of activities will be posted to the blog that link to the theme area in due course.

Take care!

Mr M.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Class 4!

It’s a strange feeling wishing you a happy Easter from my kitchen table, but alas in these strange times. I’ve always found Easter to be an exciting and fun time with the summer term on the horizon, daisy chains and freshly cut grass on the school field. Shoots beginning to appear in the school veg plot. Hopefully, it will not be too long until we are all back in school.

The file below details a list of challenges that can be used to keep the children busy during the holidays.

I hope you have a lovely Easter Break, however you decide to spend it, I’m going to be in my train shed or practicing my golf swing in the garden with some chipping.

Posting on the blog and email response will recommence the week beginning Monday 20th April.

Have a great break!
